Very different side of Blackfoot this one, more AOR than southern rock. Medlockes vocals are in fine form & does a particulary nice duet with Liz Larin. Guitar from Wizzard of Mothers Finest fame (I believe its his brother on drums) is as good as you would expect from the guy who played/plays in the greatest funk/rock band ever! Not a perfect album, and maybe not one thats gonna appeal to all Blackfoot fans, but AOR fans should be pleased with this one! |

As CC says, nothing really to do with Blackfoot and their classic Suvvvern sound, except Ricky Medlocke and the usage of the name. Still it's very good and has some great songs, most memorably 'Silent Type' & 'Private Life'. This also features a couple of covers, namely The Russ Ballard penned 'Liar' (used by Graham Bonnet on his 'Line Up' release) and 'Rock 'n' roll Tonight', originally on Mothers Finest's fabulous 'Ironage' album. |

Great album. Saturday Night is a great cover from the only real Rock'n roll star Holland ever had, Herman Brood & his Wild Romance, who sadly comitted suicide some years ago by springing from the roof of the most famous hotel in Amsterdam. Song came originally from the album 'Sphritz'. |

This CD sucks! Of all places I found it at our local public library in the please check me out because I've been sitting here forever bin! Not even close to Blackfoot, except that Ricky Medlocke is on the cover. |

In a word, a disappointment. The current rating is 6.6 but I couldn't give it above a 5.0 . 'Saturday Night' is the only track that would fit on any other Blackfoot album. I believe that this was just a contratual obligation release but I think Rickey would have done better by hiring the first unsigned competent heavy metal band he could find and recording an entire album of 'Free' covers. |

This is not completely a southern rock album, this is more aor orientated.I do like it 'coz Rick's superb vocalist and a musician.Being a Blackfoot fan myself probably some of the readers will not agree with my opinion about this album but different opinions make it more interesting to buy the album.Check it 4 yourself and be open minded. |

no reason wasting time on this one. It's not Blackfoot, it's not southern rock, it's almost not rock at all. |

I know, this is really bad and I am a big fan of Blackfoot and Ricky Medlocke. |

hum totally different from blackfoot.rick medlocke have always his superb voice, the production is excellent with a very clear sound.tracks 1 ,2 and 7 are excellent ,yes....but the other songs are very very average.the seven others songs don t hooked me at all, even if i m open mind and i have absoluty nothing when southern rockers plays a o r.but these songs are really too weak!!!!! |
